Supporting you at CHS…
We are looking forward to welcoming you and have a dedicated team of Practice Development Nurses to work with you supported by our Practice Education Team .
On your arrival at the Trust’s you will take part in a short induction supported by two Practice Development Nurses who are dedicated to helping you with your transition to working in England.
The Practice Development Nurses for our Overseas Programme run a 4-6 week NMC OSCE preparation programme to provide you with an insight and opportunity to practice the skills and knowledge to enable you to successfully complete the NMC OSCE .
You will also be allocated to one of our dynamic clinical areas where you will be supported by the team to learn about nursing here in Croydon.
Following your successful registration, you will then start the Trust’s Preceptorship Programme this runs over a year and has been developed using the CapitalNurse Preceptorship Framework. This programme will allow to you develop further clinical skills and team working supporting your transition to developing your career in England.
