Welcome

Here at Kingston Hospital, we care for more than half a million patients each year. We are proud to be the first acute Trust in south west London to gain Foundation Trust status in 2013, and in late 2018 the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated our services as “Outstanding” for overall quality and leadership and we look forward to you joining our team.

We have approximately 350 beds and directly employ around 3,000 staff, with an additional 300 staff employed by contractors working on behalf of the Trust. We are located on a single site in the beautiful leafy borough of Kingston upon Thames, but run a number of outpatient clinics in sites across our catchment area.

We are fortunate to have over 300 volunteers who support us across a range of services including discharge support, maternity, dementia activities and welcoming patients to the hospital.

We provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, and are renowned for innovative developments in healthcare, particularly in ‘patient-focused’ care across our emergency, day surgery and maternity services.

We are extremely proud of our hugely diverse and multicultural workforce that has been built over many years with an excellent reputation in Europe, India and the Philippines from our International recruitment campaigns.
