At NELFT, we support the health and wellbeing of all our local communities by delivering the best care by the best people.  We provide an extensive range of integrated community and mental health services across North East London and the counties of Essex and Kent.  Our services cater for people of all ages from new born babies to older people.  We provide care and support for patients in a range of settings including health centres, community hospitals and their own homes.

Our services are provided across the London Boroughs of Barking, Dagenham, Barnet, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest – just a short distance from the key sights of our vibrant and diverse capital city – London.  In Essex and Kent our services are provided across counties known to offer beautiful countryside, busy market towns and villages, and miles of coastline and beaches. We work across some of the most diverse areas in the country which offers a wealth of opportunities and experiences.

Pastoral & Professional Support

At NELFT, we will provide you with a comprehensive induction when you arrive, and training and professional support with the ‘OSCE’ programme (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) enabling you to achieve your UK professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Buddying/peer support will also be provided to help you thrive in the workplace.

We will also provide you with a comprehensive package of support to help you settle into life in the UK including collection from the airport, arranging accommodation, information pack on opening a Bank account, registering with a Doctor, shopping, public transport, local amenities, and social activities.

NELFT are delighted to be taking part in the London Consortium for International Nursing Recruitment. As an ‘early adopter’, we are excited to be involved in this ground-breaking project and look forward to working in collaboration with Consortium partners to recruit international Nurses and welcome them to the London NHS family
